What is Coaching?

“Professional coaches provide an ongoing partnership designed to help you produce fulfilling results in your personal and/or professional lives. Coaches help you improve your performance and enhance the quality of your life” (FIREUP Coaching Registered Training Organisation 2018).

Coaching is an interactive relationship where you present your goal or challenges through open questioning. Kerry is trained to listen, to observe and to customize her approach to your needs. This leads to identifying a space for self-reflection and genuine feedback. In coaching, you set the agenda and the outcomes you wish to achieve. Kerry will provide a safe and confidential environment and will focus on goals and solutions. Coaching can be for the individual, the team, or the organisation.

Kerry has trained through FIREUP Coaching, an Australian registered training organisation (Leadership, Coaching and Mentoring) and is practiced in her skill as a coach and mentor. Kerry is registered with, and meets the Standards and Code of Ethics, of the International Coaching Federation (ICF). Kerry is committed to the continuous development of a professional coach, by seeking out and participating, in regular ongoing learning and networking opportunities.

About the coaching process

Coaching sessions are confidential and completely customised to meet your current needs, goals and time frames.

A coaching agreement is discussed and signed to ensure clarity of coaches and client’s roles.

Method of delivery

There are options:

Online, via Zoom or Teams. You can save travel and time.

Face to Face, if guidelines at the time permit.

The first session focuses on establishing the goals you want to achieve. Generally there are six sessions, after the initial discussion. The Agreement is customized for the individual as are the times and days when coaching will occur, and the content of all sessions.

The package includes follow up emails and brief phone calls between the sessions.
